“Trendy is the last stage before tacky.” - Karl Lagerfeld

Hello everyone
So here we have it another top 5 and today I chose to do Top 5 most stylish women in music. Now I love my music. But, I'm not going to lie to you I'm not really one for the quality. I mean I nearly cried when my phone wiped out all my Taylor Swift  *insert cool indie band* (I'm not cool enough therefore I don't know any) albums. But, I think I know my style well at least I know what I like so today I present to you:

Top 5 Most Stylish Women in Music (in order of course)

5.  Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea has blown up in the last couple of months due to her song "Fancy" and her featured guest verse on Ariana Grande's "Problem". But I just love her style so much and I think she had got one of those bodies which is extremely hard to style. I mean to accentuate her curves naturally you would want the tightest dress possible but on the other hand you don't want to look like a prostitute and I think that Iggy never falls into that category. Everything she wears is sexy but not slutty and her is just beautiful they're literally strands of beautiful gold.

This is Iggy Azalea in Zuhair Murad my ultimate favourite couture designer and she looks stunning. The red is such a beautiful contrast to her alabaster skin tone and blonde hair. I love the cut of the dress and the two drapes of fabric around her chest which are just tight enough to make her look sexy but not too tight that she looks like she is going to suffer from a heart attack.

I am a sucker for a gold dress with red lipstick. To me it's daring, fashionable and stunning. I mean I don't even have to say how great Iggy Azalea looks. I love the embroidery on this dress its just amazing. and I like how it isn't boring tree branches... I've seen a lot of that on couture dresses lately. They will just embroider tree branches and they think just because it's hand embroided people will love it. That's not the case and the different shapes that are used are a testament to that as this dress stands out to many I have seen.

Bloody hell she's toned isn't she? Wish I could say the same about myself ...but anyway she looks stunning. I think this look doesn't fall into the hooker territory is because of the hair. It is  down and is just wavy  and is really girl next door while the dress definitely isn't.  I also want to mention the fact that she has no jewellery or accessories and I think that was a really smart choice some people will be like "But it's black...it needs colour". BLACK IS A COLOUR AND NO MORE IS NEEDED!

   4.   Solange Knowles

Also known as the "Anti- Beyonce"; I actually listened to some of her music and I really like it I would definetly reccomend you listen to it because it's different but after a while it gets to you and you can't stop listening. Solange comes in at number 4 because I think she's so underrated it isn't even fair. She is gourgeous and because she has such a great skin tone she can play with colour which other people can't do. It leads to really different and unique choices and also she is one person who manages to still look cool when she is just walking around something which I think is really cool and truly shows whether a person is fashionable or not.

The shoes are literally to die... I mean I would give my kidney for those shoes I mean look at them and with this sequin skin tight shimmering green dress with a slit. Solange slayed this look and is easily my favourite of hers. I really like how there are sleeves to this dress to balance out the slit I'm a big fan of sleeves but sometimes if not done right they can age you. But here they're a perfect length as they still allow you to see her toned arms. Also I know there's a massive trend where the slit is too the side but I personally prefer at the front because you're able to see the shoes and it just makes it look sexier.

Initially when I was looking through Solange's red carpet looks early on a pattern emerged. I could see that Solange preferred different cuts and shapes of dresses but in one block colour. So when I saw here in this Roberto Cavalli suit I was so shocked because I didn't really expect this from her. Loud prints are one of the biggest trends this summer and I think Solange shows you how to do it while still having fun. I love how the blazer is tailored and it is literally made for her. I love how it cinches in at the waist without being too obvious sometimes when designers do decide to try and cinch in the waist of a garment they are way too obvious and it looks like the person is going to die. But my favourite part of this outfit is the accessories... she didn't pick boring black shoes she chose these amazing strappy heels that feature white. She chose to go with a red clutch and I think this shows that when wearing a loud print you don't have to keep the accessories boring.

Ahhhhh yellow! Otherwise known as the colour reserved for a very insanely stunning group of people. Yellow is like that annoying friend you have, you still love them but you wouldn't mind throwing them out of a window. I could never pull off yellow I would look completely crap but I love the way it looks on Solange. The yellow is kind of dusty and isn't really in your face and I love the shape of the dress it is really simple but effect but what I think would make this look better is a bubblegum pink on the lips just to get some neon in there but otherwise a perfect look from the teacher.

3. Rihanna

I used to have a love hate thing with Rihanna; I really liked her music but for me her style was really disjointed and frankly boring. But she suddenly had a style transformation after her release of "Loud" with her bright red hair and I just fell in love with her. What I love about Rihanna is that she doesn't give a shit about trends; she just wears what she wants and then that becomes a trend. Rihanna is just a person who radiates cool you want to be her and you her to like her; she has so much , and I hate use this word, "swag" and she always looks on point. That's why she is my number 3.

Man I love this look so much; this is Rihanna at the Met Ball this year in Stella Mcartney. I love the white against her skin and the fact that we can see her tattoos makes the look edgy and stops her looking like a little virginal girl. Also I really like the bejewelled high neck because it makes the outfit look really elegant and regal. The actual shape and cut of the dress is stunning I love how the dress is tighter around her hips but then flows out it gives a really nice hourglass sihouette. But my favourite thing about this whole outfit is the hair. It just says "Yeah I just threw this together and I'm at the Met Ball #whatevs  #iwasbornready.

Flawless. I love how Rihanna uses what she has already got as her accessory; if you imagine this outfit without the red hair it would be boring. Safe. But the red hair is able to make it edgy and more Rihanna and I also love those emerald green earrings; she doesn't look like a Christmas tree and I want to know why dammit.

Now I debated whether to feature this picture or not. Some may argue that it was a cheap way to get attention and it was not at all fashionable. But I disagree with that, fashion is all about risks and Rihanna is the high priestess of this. And I know all the attention was on her nakedness but if we actually focus on the dress it is beautifully made. I love the fur stole and gives the dress an added decadence  and her beauty game is so strong. Her makeup is eyecatching without being too bold because if the makeup was too bright that would have just ruined the dress. Rihanna was able to find a great balance here even though she was half naked, well screw the half she was naked.

2. Taylor Swift

T- Swizzle, Tay Tay whatever you want to call her you can't deny this girl has got serious style credentials. I love Taylor Swift's music a lot but I tend to hide it; you know stuffing the CD's beneath your pillow case hiding. I remember when she used to turn up in these really weird dresses with cowboy boots and look like she was going to the rodeo but she bloomed like a beautiful orchid.

This mini dress looks great on Tay Tay (yeah we've got nicknames for each other, don't be jealous). I really love the cobalt blue and what I really like this dress because the dress isn't just sequins or glitter but is actually almost like a mosaic on her body and the mesh panels keeps the outfit looking young and fun which goes hand in hand with the length.

So this is shy and retiring Taylor Swift I feel that she really embraces granny chic... only kidding. This is sexy Taylor Swift. This is "I stole Harry Styles from you fangirls and I don't give a fuuuuuuuck" Taylor Swift. Her hair is just so perfect, it marries this sexy look and just looks so easy and effortless.  I also really like the belt, I'm not a big fan of belts but I like what they do. By making the belt gold like the dress and the belt is almost like a block of gold, in the way that is has a definite shape and it doesn't just flop around her body. Final note: THOSE LEGS- it's no fun being under 5 feet; that myth that they tell you that boys generally like short girls yeah not true.

It probably isn't news to you guys that I am a big fan of black and white I mean I even wore it for my Prom so I really enjoy and love monochrome looks. I think that they are just so effortless and classy it looks like you've made an effort even when you haven't. I really like how these are separates and I think that it is a really cool trend that I want to jump onto the band wagon for. I love the bold red lip which is just has Taylor Swift written all over it and the 50s pin up style hair works so well on her face and it keeps the attention all on the dress.

1. Beyonce aka the Queen aka the best person ever aka the person you wish you could be

Ladies and Gentlemen we have finally reached our number and I give you our winner: BEYONCE. Beyonce has always had style but in recent years she has just amped it in recent years and has not only stayed flawless but also has become more fashionable and adventurous and for this I commend her. Beyonce is always ahead of the pack whether that be musically or in terms of fashion and she is just amazing and I am so glad she has started regularly updating her Instagram feed I could always use more Beyonce in my life.

Ladies tell 'em we FLAWLESS. There is nothing I can say all I will say that this dress just reminds me of the winter wonderland. It hugs her body the train of the dress is so pretty and I love the pleats which is so different to just a normal straight piece of fabric. I know some people didn't like the hair because it reminded them of a wet dog. But I think that makes the outfit look gangster and gives it some Beyonce flair.

Beyonce curveball! There are a lot of dresses saturating the red carpet especially the Grammys but Beyonce chose to change it up and wore this amazing monochrome jumpsuit that showcases her figure without showing an inch of flesh. The less is more mantra speaks loud and clearly here; this is one of the simplest outfits I've seen Beyonce in but she probably looks her best. Finally I really like the hair, I think that she could have gone with a very high and sleek ponytail but I'm glad she didn't. This is quite an androgynous look and the low ponytail gives it a femininity.

In my best Drunk in Love Beyonce voice "Clashing prints, clashing prints, you got me faded faded faded Beyonce why are you so stylish? Na Na Na". I am so scared of clashing print it isn't even funny so I respect anybody who even attempts to wear clashing prints and when they looked this good my respect turns into awe. I think one think that Beyonce did which you and I could do is that she  picked two pieces with similar themes but different colours so it isn't too different and out there and I love her box clutch. The utilitarian clutch is such a great contrast to the femininity of the flowers.
